While I was visiting with Modified Mark this weekend we took the 9010 Dolmar on its maiden voyage.
Mark being the host, I let him put the Dolmar beast in the wood for the very first time. Needless to say we were impressed at the power and smoothness of this saw.
The video is of it cutting a dead white oak crotch that was pretty hard.

Mark commented that this saw is a lot stronger than what he thought it would be based on the reports he had read on here.
I think this saw would stack up very favorably against a 390xp or 660.

That saw looked strong. Maybe you guys need to make a tour with it to all the GTGs so everyone can run it.:greenchainsaw:

Was any beer consumed on this said weekend? Only an hour away from home.... dang Mark, should have called. :buttkick:

Why would you possibly think that could have happened???:dizzy:

I'm sure it will make it to a few GTGs in the future!!!

Looks like that saw has a lot of torque. Were you leaning on it at all?

No, all I was doing was letting it get a better bite.
You will VERY seldom see me put any down pressure on a chainsaw, I just don't believe in it.
If you have to push on a saw to make it cut, your chain needs work!!!
I can still hear the echoes of one of my old bosses...."Damn it boy, let the tool do the work!"

can't wait to get my greasy mitts on that bad boy, looks like you guys had a blast!

It is at that, and we did.

It's ready when you are my friend!!!
Yes it was a GREAT weekend!

Mike

Sorry Mike you must have missed the thread I started and posted them pictures already... That saws worth showing twice though.

:bang: Your right, I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking. It was more working on saws then running them though. Oh and there was beer drinking going on.

Good thing we didn't run it back to back with that big red one we fixed, might have broke that dollys heart. LOL :givebeer:

Sweet saw for sure fellas! Ive contemplated buying the same on in blue, same deal Wiggs posted I believe (yes, a smokin' deal). Guess Ill have to talk Hillybilly into buying on first hehe.

PS-9000 vs PS-9010

The PS-9000 & PS-9010 look identical on the outside but have a few different componets inside. Different carb & coil/flywheel. The 9010 is a better saw than the 9000.

I looked at the 9000 that Wiggs posted SEVERAL times, but by the time I paid the shipping and changed out the things that it would take to make it a 9010, I would have had more in it than I do in this 9010.

Add to that the fact that I spent my money here in my hometown, and with one of the best Dolmar dealers in existence, and it was a no brainer!!!
