Hi all

Quick question.

Does any else have experience with failing walbro carbs, for stihl ms260.

Been messing around with an old ms260 that just would not run as it should.

After cleaning and using carb Kits on 3 different walbro carbs, All from old used ms260 saws. And the saw still would not run correctly.

Finally took a, known working, 260 saw, took off the carb, and wham... the saw ran perfectly.

What Are the odds of 3 carbs malfunctioning, Even after cleaning and new carb Kits?

Had to replace both of my 026 WT194 carbs, no matter how many times I gutted & cleaned them, even with new OEM carb kits they still wouldn't run right. Took a chance on some $12 chinesium carbs from Amazon and they run great now.

These are

WTE - 618 (5)

WTE - 439 (5)

And then a 026 carb - WT426A

It's either the worst of luck or I suck at cleaning/kitting :dizzy:

Yeah, maybe ill try a cheap china one this time :)
