took off half of a jap maple today by accident when dropping a tree. zero crane access. zero lift or bucket truck access, and too stone dead to climb. the drop was almost spot on, but the notch was just a little off and a few branches from the top made it onto the jap maple. customer was very understanding and were doing what we need to to make it right, but sure as hell doesn't feel good. but we live and we learn, and no matter how much experience we get were always learning and accidents happen. just glad it wasn't a person.
