I am putting together a 350 that I installed a hyway 346 p&c. -- installed the cylinder and found that I didn't
have enough room to install the compression release, the valve threads in but i can't fit a deep well socket to tighten it. There is a bracket or something that I believe does not have a purpose. ---I looked a my 346xp and
a 2149 jonsered that has the same thing. ---So I cut it off.
---Anyone know what it's for??

Yea, but had sealer on the com. valve and wanted to tighten it up. --- even a snap on off set box will
not fit with the fin configuration. --- Had a old 27/64 socket that i drilled a 1/2 hole in to make it work
--- remember when every socket set had that goofy size?? ---Well you have to be about 60+
I am sure after cutting it off that I don't need it. --Don't have a choice now.
I was just wondering if anyone had a reason for it.
