Thanks, PA, should have stopped at the first one. Because now, I don't know. Where's the green, looks red to me, like oak. But I really don't know. Maybe some kind of oak we don't have over here. Or some kind of oak I have never cut before.

it is green (light) when first cut like poplar ,then turns to this color,
going to saw some as soon as the temp gets in the upper 20`s

It looks like a chestnut tree I cut back in the seventies there was a blight that came through and killed all of them. Just not sure
