I've seen a number of photos of 090 saws (090, 090AV) and there seem to be more than two models. I'm not talking about the 090G, just direct drive 090's.

Were there cosmetic changes over the years, or are there more models I don't know about?

What are the 090's like on a mill? Unstoppable torque or too much trouble?

Thanks.

av stands for anti-vibration handles.

the 090's are good for milling. but they are very heavy and old, i wouldnt want to use one on an alaska or granberg mill. mine is used on a hudson track mounted mill.

if i had to do it over, i would not let the nostalgia of the 090 get to me, and i would get a brand new 3120 instead.
