This is the butt end of a second growth redwood. Not the most consentric heart due to the numerous stump sprouts. How would begin milling this with a Lucas? Or would you even bother?

prolly whack two feet off the bottom and go to town...
how long is the butt log? I just picked up a pine butt this afternoon
that has at least six inches of butt swell...guess i'll have to get the
chainsaw after it..thing is huge...
