I posted note a few weeks back on a 98 WC model 612 that I found with a 6 cyc ford engin. This thing runs and chips great. But I need some additional advice from the guys who have a WC.

How meany RPM's should I be running it and where would I be able to find a owners manul for it.

As always any advice would greatly appricated.

You'al have a blessed Day.

This is a update to the thread a just opened.

I found the the Altec phone number and gave the people a call. I can order a owner manual and all the parts I need from them. When I say all the parts I need I mean engine covers the machine is missing. The blades are a little pricey at $227. Is this about right for the cost of blades for the WC or can I order them from a 3rd party vendor at a lessor price.

Sherrill has them listed at $31 each.

I think 2500 RPM's is about right, but check with the manufacturer to be sure.

As for engine covers, get them made at a local sheet metal shop. You'll save a bunch.

i just sold a jey-12 ford six cylnder it ran at 2600rpm,it had a manual, theres not alot to need to know.
