I'm looking to install a wood boiler behind my metal building. My question is I also want to move my propane behind the building also. They would be roughly 20-25 feet apart. Is this a bad idea?

In reality that should be no problem. However your insurance company probably wouldn't see it that way. I wouldn't put them that close together if I could avoid it.

I considered using the metal building at first. I've decided against it because it would use a good portion of room up for wood storage. It has a race trailer, camper and truck in it right now. It's an 80 foot walk from the back door to where the heater will be. I can put 2 stacks to the right of the heater and 4 stacks to the left of the heater. That still leaves room for the propane tank to be 20feet from the heater and it will all be out of sight of the house.
