Hello,
I purchased a house that has a oil fed hot water boiler. This heats the house and heats the domestic hot water. There is also a older wood fed water boiler that is not hooked up. im planning on getting it in spected for insurence reasons and running it, just using the oil as back up.
What should I expect with a wood boiler? Ive never had one before. The only other time of furnace ive used is a wood forced air. Are they more effencant on wood than the forced air?
