That's right the biggest . We use the term bomboocha here in Hawaii

Samanea Saman aka monkey pod.
It's 14' wide and over 20 tall . Unless there's something bigger it's the WORLDS LARGEST HARDWOOD TREE.

The branches have been milled .
6' by 100'

The tree is wind thrown and has rerooted so the sap still flowing keeping the bugs at bay.

The best part. The wood character is the best of the best. Like black walnut but better.

Who wants it? Where do I sell it? mp6.jpg mp7.jpg Transportation of these slabs are going to be a nightmare but for someone might be worth it. That's not the mill in the pic. A 17' bar has been hand built by a Japanese machinist. Blackhat logging and Richard King are the people also involved in this giant

On your website you describe the bar as 15', above you say 17', so which is it? Is this the same custom Cannon bar that was sent to Hawaii a few years ago????
There are a few threads on here that talk of a 15' + bars

Can you also enlighten me on how you have come to the conclusion that you have """"WORLDS LARGEST HARDWOOD TREE"""""
Last but not least how do you figure you will be cutting '''largest single piece table slabs ever cut''. The slab of Kauri in the
Kauri Museum is 22.5 meters long, I dont think you can measure up to that ?

It's not mine . I watched part of it being built. I thought it was a 17' bar for a 14' tree. But it's definitely a 20' bar. I'll get back on the tree. I'm no expert on either I'm just on the computer so I think an expert on everything.
Richard King is the guy in the video. He's been woodworking and logging for ever. He's had me come out on different tree projects. He fixes everything from race cars to my mom's surfboards. He lives about an 2 hours away. I talked to him today and he said 20' . The other video shows Jeremiah Blackhat a local logger and mill owner. He owns 2 woodmizers and a Lucas stabbing mill that he operates a couple streets down from my house.

What is a stabbing mill? Perhaps an equalizer for somebody that brings a knife to a gunfight?
Or maybe it does very fast surgical procedures?

Every once in awhile I go out of town to slay up a big log. The mill is 7'4" long and rides one the roof rack of a Ford Expedition. Being a thirsty fellow I'll stop in some watering hole for a cold one and see what the local rubes are up to. there's been 3 times a fight broke out and I not involved. Guess they figure not to muss with me but to take it out amongst themselves. Must be a penis thing. Thanks for the post for it is big and impressive serving a function that I think could be done no other way. As far as your spelling goes find your reading glasses. Thy're around somewhere but some of us don't care and remember guys we're not little boys playing with tonka toys anymore we're supposed to be men and treat with respect.

Arborjockey those are some nice slabs! Did you wet them before the picture, or is that wood naturally that dark. Either way I'll take 20! (just kidding)

Stabbing mill.......soo stuuupid.
Anyhew. The wood is naturally that bright.
It's similar to black walnut but with much more character.

Timberframe . That's a big mill you have. I've never lived in a place where a small mill would suffice.

Here's some more Samenea saman. The last pic is a callused over branch. Cool how it healed.
