burning...
Been burning for two weeks...some nights have to open the windows to sleep but the propane is OFF...I really am glad that we have a colder spell moved in so that hopefully I can get everything balanced and comfortable...this will be our first year heating with wood only and after 1800 gal of propane last year...well let's just say that sitting in the living room with the family with the windows open and the house at 72 the complaints about the hot house quickly turn to smiles...
The Fire chief is sitting in the garage basically ideling, have it damped down to the point that flue temp is in the high 200's to low 300's, burning silver maple...just waiting on the cold to throw cherry-ash-oak and hickory at it...
needless to say...LOOOOVVVVIIIINNNGGGG it!
