Zama carb on Homelite Timberman 45cc

So, I got a low hours saw that would not run correctly. At WOT the engine would run, but not rev. No amount of fiddling with the high-speed mix screw helped. IMG_4507[1].JPG

The carb is marked Zama C1Q H44 29A. I obtained a kit for it.

What suggestions do you all have to rebuild this carb correctly and get the saw running correctly?
 
If possible, ultrasonic cleaning: I would remove the adjusting screws and inlet control lever with needle. After the cleaning rebuild the carb with the original rebuild kit RB-54.

You can also spray carb cleaner through the carburetor adjusting screw holes. Don`t spray directly into the jets seen in the metering chamber. There are checkvalves in it that can be destroyed through the spraying.
 
I have the same issue. How do you get the limiters off without damaging the adjusting needles?
