Zama carb on MS250

Does it look like this one? If so, I would say yes. There is a Zama techguide available if you Google search it. Fairly informative.

I think mustering on the one in the process about 1 1/4 turns on each H and L screws.

I kinda figured it had something to do with the environment, about half the "improvements" on two stroke engines is about making them cleaner. If I keep the 250 I may look around for a more conventional carb. Anyway, for now I'll adjust it according to specs.
 
The walbro WT-215 is a good swap for this machine. I've had great success with them. The zama's always give me a fit...but that's the way it is some time.
