The two Super XL925's I have are both the 2.0625 Bore versions, so they are aprox. 82cc's. The XL-700's along with a couple of others had a 2.00inch bore so those models are the 77cc versions. My New Old Stock 901 barrel has the 2inch bore, so those 901's and possibly 921's are 77cc versions of that saw chassis. I guess anything is possible, but to this point in time I haven't seen a 925 with a 2inch bore. (Those 800's bark suprisingly well...torque is their game, build one with a 20inch bar & chain for a really practical vintage hobby saw!)

Sorry for jumping in on your thread. I have an XL700, it is a 2.00" bore. Several Homelites have a 2.00 inch bore. Are all of the pistons for the 2.00" bore the same. My piston is toast. I haven't looked at the cylinder yet. I'd like to find an NOS P/C and rebuild this one right, Joe.
Well acording to Homelite it was more then possible to have a 77cc 925.
This is from 1991.
I've seen the same data but to this point in time I haven't seen a 925 anything with a 2 inch bore...but my 901 is a 2 inch bore. They must be out there somewhere..
