    Please be careful.

Hey guys not a arborist injury but a death in the family due to a tractor. My Uncle rolled a tractor over and was killed when it rolled onto him and crushed him. I know that he had been mowing the lawn at his place of work for many years. I don't know if he got complacent or was just a freak...

    whadja do today?

The one Union company I work for wants " 40 a day to stay" and they mean it. But that's all commercial work. Stand ups on metal studs. I've hung thousands of sheets and have got past the hate part of it Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

    whadja do today?

That's a great question. I have a sling from Sherrill Tree and didn't think it was bruummelled. But after reading your post I checked it out and I was wrong. My length of Tenex is long enough to put another eye on the other end. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

    whadja do today?

No. The few times I needed one I borrowed from a buddy. Time to get my own Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

    whadja do today?

Spliced up a 3/4" Tenex sling for my new porta wrap. Twenty minutes and I didn't have to pay Treestuff to do it for me. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

    New 16 strand climb line

Just bought a new Yale XTC rope from Wesspur. Just did the tight eye splice myself. Anyone looking for awesome splicing tricks I recommend the Brion Toss video. Well worth the money spent. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Actually got some new Big Buc pads. Man what a difference. They are very comfy. Should have bought them a long time ago.

We must live at the same house.

    You guys were right.....

I like your style. Every tool I own looks like a working man owns it. Even my Harley enjoys a coating of road grime these days. I bought it to ride not spend every waking minute with a polishing cloth.

So what did you do today?

Big Red and I took the helicopter tour of Myrtle Beach today. I highly recommend it if you are here. Very proud of her for going. It was a blast!!!!

Somethin tells me this is a homeowners work...

Guessing they did the easy part first? Would have liked to seen a pic before the mayhem started. I like to get the hard sections out of the way first if possible and finish up with the less technical parts. Let us know how it ends

    Got some gear, gonna climb...

Get a chainsaw lanyard to hang your saw from. Flip line might have ten feet of slack. Keep that saw close by. Good luck. Have fun and be safe. And I have learned that you don't have to drive your spurs into pines. Just your weight is plenty to get a good bite.
