I have a hole in the rear handle gas tank, behind the on/off switch. really don't want to try and repair it. So, should I try and find a used gas tank, or would I be better off getting a new one? Also, where is the best place to purchase a new one? Thanks for any idea's...

What is the $$ value of a Husqvarna 2101XP from the original owner, with high compression (150psi) the saw has all the original paint on it except the bottom where it has rubbed off some. The only problem the owner ever had with the saw is he forgot to tighten the spark plug once and says after...

My problem was more about which direction the duckbill and vent fitting seated in the fuel tank (outside or inside) which would start with the direction you feed the vent through the tank itself. Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words. Thanks for your concern though. Much appreciated...

I have tried to research all the threads on the removal, and replacement of the gas tank vent tube. I really need someone with experience doing this to help me understand the directions I have read on here, a visual would be great, however all the pictures that have been posted must be to old...

Thanks for your help, it did help with the fuel supply line, however I could still use a visual to help me understand how to get the vent line correctly...

I have a 2100cd with two stripped out holes on either side of the exhaust port, the one on the clutch side of the saw is the worst, the one on the flywheel side can most likely be re tapped and work. What are my options, and what size bolt is it that goes through the muffler and into either side...
