Hey all.

Looking for a decent firewood saw. A local guy has a 026 for sale. He is asking $175, he says its in good shape and in the pictures it does look in good shape.

He has a 20" bar on it, I think its a bit large for that saw tho.

I am not sure if it is a pro, but I think it only has 1 adjustment screw on the side for the L.

Any ideas?

It will be fully adjustable
20" is ideal bar size
It can pull it and your not bending over as far
I would get it
Easy to work on and or rebuild

Price is right. Check the compression before you buy. Most guys run a 16 on an 026...will pull a 20 but not with authority.

Pulls a 20" great 'round here. I always see people making these broad generalizations about bar length. We don't all cut hardwood!

Looks like a good deal! I wouldn't sell mine for that.

At that price there is no way you would get mine and it wears a 20" bar. An 026 is an awesome all around firewood saw. If you look at your first picture, there are 2 tiny holes above the obvious one. Those are for the other adjustment screws. That is a fully adjustable saw.
