Guys,
The 19t died and i'm in need of a new top handle asap. My two local choices are the 200t and the 338xpt. What would you go with and why.
thanks

BlaBla Bla... my best ever 335 finally succumbed to bad bearings.....As I've told the story many times, it lasted me a good 3 years. I got it in a box from Rich Hoffman for $40, put it together, modded the muffler, and it served me reliably and admirably...and was the fastest climb saw I've ever had...would smoke any stock 200T by a mile...... I've had a couple others that were somewhat reliable, and OK on power......overall, the 200T is a better saw, but not by the landslide that most claim.

i'm curious to see what the new Husky climb saw is all about...rumor says it'll be out within a year.....

By the way, there really have been very few who don't like their 338's that have been purchased in the last couple of years. I didn't like mine much, even though I had it fully woods ported, so I've neveer gotten another.

I can tell not many here have actually USED a 335/338, but for sure everyones' used a 200T, he he

ST, I haven't tried a new edition 338 but would like to have one, re-tuned of course, also these little saws you don't run them more than a few seconds at a time, they only handle thin branches, if stuck on bigger stuff they're not the right saw, their tiny motors heat up, huskys every bit as reliable as stihls from what I see and 38cc's whips 35cc's, I almost feel sorry for people running 200T's
