Actually john deere is not the worlds largest farm equipment manufacture. Agco is.

The john deere dealer here that sells stihl doesn't carry much of anything and is way over priced on ordering parts. This deal will turn out bad if they mark their parts over msrp.

John deere is riding their name recognition big time. The last dealer I was at had a sign that said "Ask us about our john deere party supplies."

$25 says the dealers Stihl has been "loyal" to over the years decide it's time to put in a different brand. Last time I checked, loyalty was a two-way street.

p.s. And just because you go both ways doesn't mean you're "loyal," Tom Hall... :ices_rofl:

.

Are you trying to tell me Stihl is pulling a old Husqvarna trick of screw the dealers?? 25.00 says they won't stoop that low, hehehe

That makes sense, cause Stihl isn't the world's largest manufacturer of chainsaws...Husqvarna is.

So it looks to me like Pepsi matched up with Burger King here...Number Twos of the world...UNITE!!! LOLOLOL!!!

BRAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

p.s. Hey Tommy...can I have some fries with that? :D :D :D

let me bring this to your from a wallstreet prospective.

;)

the dealers are getting the big screw. even hear about dilution. how many years have you been building that dealership? its not like other new dealers open one at a time and have to build biz to compete. in one fell swoop they have undermined the entire dealer network.

sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! :yourock:

from a corporate move its brilliant. get a nice fat check to start out and sell lots more overprice stuff.

i rate the stock a buy!

T-Shirt Hell used to have a funnier than hell John Deere T-shirt. I’m partial to Case IH though…
Two Deere dealers and 3 Stihl dealers in my area, I’m sure the Stihl dealers will lose sales now.

Not the worlds largest manufacture, the worlds largest selling brand,LOL

Building it and selling it is two different things, ask Ford, they should be able to explain how it feels to be 2nd fiddle to GM for the last century,LOLOLOL

There's your fries, need a napkin for those tears too?,LOLOL

I bought a 4440 for $800, what's your point?

I guess I should also point out that our 245 Massey is still worth $7000.
