how many times do i need to step in sh1t before i realize its sh1t?

like i said. hardwood and softwood. both times that saw came up limp. and not for nothing but i put it in the hardwood for a lot longer than 2 cuts. pal.

More than 2 cuts? Wow!! That's a bunch!!

No wonder they call you a pro!!

see drew. a pro can tell on the first cut if a saw is worth holding.

seeing as to how you admit that you are just a firewood guy you wouldnt know what a pro is even if it slapped you in the mouth.

with that said, keep loving that second string saw while i go and work with the first team.

i get paid to put wood on the ground in a safe and timely manner. paid well too.

yes drew. that makes me a pro.

So why is that many of the pro's around here are running 441's then? Hampton Tree Service, Study Tree Service, Dependable Tree Service, Wagler Bros. Excavation and Whitewater Tree to name a few in the area.

I bought mine after running 044's, 372's and 046's in the recent years and talking to the aforementioned folks.

just out of curiosity.

what saw do you buy if they no longer sell/make a 440/044 and you need a 70cc saw and you run nothing but stihl?

like i said. one day i will have to run one of these saws. not out of want mind you, but because i have to.

good to hear these guys that you mention have the time to get their work done.

enough of this pissing match. you like your saw, i dont. maybe in a few years when my saws run out of steam i'll own a 441 or the likes but not until i absolutely have to.

be well drew. happy cuttings!

I'd buy mine again every time. I bought it having ran 044's and 046's for the past few years.

They seem to agree with me that it's faster than the other 70cc saws. Just like most of the people who have got much trigger time on them at this site.

I'll drink to that.

This is over huh. I just got outta da crapper, and this thing grew 2 pages. It was a fast one too, like a 460 in the cut, and loud....man was it loud.

Joat, looks like I won't be needing medical attention, but if and when I do, I'll be sure to consult your expertise. Keep em' sharp boys!

i welcome you tommie to have the pleasure of running any of the saws i own and run daily.

all are studs and run like they should. in fact i have other fulltime tree guys that love running my saws. why is that you ask? because my sh1t run like champs.

speaking of pills. you choke down any of that veee agra yet drew?

Sorry Old, I was eating supper but I'm here just for you now.

Your saws are studs huh, thats a new one, never heard that line before. They run like champs do they, well I'll be dayumm, kizz my azz, I'm impressed. Now tell me something Old how come my 441, yes the saw you say isn't any count, runs right along with my 046 and its on vid to see?
Ya think my 441 is on steroids or maybe your just talking out your Oldirty azz, I think its the latter,LOLOL

I shall await your reply, I kinda enjoy this, hehe

With all due respect, I don't think the guy is a piss poor tech. The amount of wood cutting, timber falling and tree services in this area is very high. If he didn't know what he is doing he would be out of business. I don't know where you live, but I would imagine it has to do with elevation.

Now I just have to figure out what to get the 372 or the 460. Price may play a factor. I know the old saying, you get what you pay for, however that remains to be seen.

I think you will be happy with either one of those. I'm cutting just over the ridge from you at around 7500' and both of those saws are very common. Go by which feels better in the hand, dealer support and price. My next saw will probably be a 372 just to try it.
