Okay, who is in Maine and more importantly who would show up to a GTG in the spring. I know it is early, but I wanted to see what type of interest there is.

I might be up there if it coincided with Reggae weekend at Sugarloaf... :D

i'm not sure how much "Rasta Man Vibration" should be about when handling a 110cc saw

or is that some sort of new motor mount that provides for irie cutting feel?

so ya thinking something beyond the occassional leonards mills stuff?

might be interesting to pull out some of the pockets of cutters and enthusiasts... and get some racing stuff going on as well.

Well, I'm up there almost every weekend
in the winter so i suppose i could make it
in the spring.
Definately count me in.
Where in Me. are you.

Pfft- I don't go up there for the music and weed. I go up there for the corn snow and soft bumps... and the off chance the snow fields are open. And the beer. The beer is a key aspect of the whole thing.

Never been that way...

Would love to see that area someday....You always see pictures of Maine,,and always looked like a postcard...Wonder if I could bring my 440 on as a carry on on Delta??? LOL!!! Who knows,,when I get to wanting to go somewheres,,I'll go!!!!

Well I am open to thoughts on where to have it. I was thinking out on the Studmill Rd on some camp property. It is a little outside of Milford (about 10 miles north of Bangor), but it might be hard for some out of towners to find.

Any thoughts, or does someone have a better place?

It's probably because all the pictures of Maine are postcards... :D

Sorry, that was a hangin' curve right over the plate. I had to swing.

All you see of Maine frm here!!!

Thanks Plant...

Thats some beautiful pics...

my house is a good stopping point for the studmill road. on rte 2 right around the corner for it. i can certainly brainstorm until we come up with something. the house is right on the penobscot with waterfront access.. good place to fish off of... and there is a boat landing down the street.

guess i'll have to upgrade the grill.

Bangor's a bit far for me, but I'm just a stone's throw from Oxford County.

BTW, I was scrolling through your images thinking "All these pics of Maine and no moose?" Then bam, as though on demand.

You know what they say; "You can't get there from here." :)

Not a Mainer, but my NH accent is pretty thick. I live 3 miles down a 4 mile long dead end that peters out into the hills. This is a conversation that really happened:

Motorist with Mass. plates on a Suburban: Where does this road go?

woodbooga (pruning fruit trees in front yard): Ah've lived he-yah fo' ye-yahs and that road ain't budged narry an inch in all that time.

My wife hates it when I do things like that.

Reminds me of another ME joke:

Tourist: Have you lived here all of your life? Local: Not yet.

PB, geat photos, I'm envious!!
