Two-Stroke Swope
Buy it. Then I send it to me to fix her up for you.
What would be wrong with this saw once I gave it a new spark plug, filter, filter cover, bar, clutch cover, gas tank, new plastic covers, and sprocket? I know thats alot, but wouldn't it be worth it?
Yes it would be well worth it. If you were going to keep and use the saw.

Part of whats wrong is 105 # compression. That sounds like P/C replacement, minimum.
Its the only way I would do it. Fix it and keep it. Why not?
If you can get it for the price where its at, I would buy it but after rebuild and parts, you'll spend good bit of penny.
The saw does have DP over on it though. :greenchainsaw:
Buy a good running(and good looking if needed) 044 or 440, take it apart, put it back together and you still have a good saw(if you payed attention during disassembley) and you figured out how to work on them.
I'm not steering you away from a project, but you will have much more than $100 in a finished runner....
Anybody know where is a good place to get parts?
