you can tell the difference running wise with a saw that has 130 vs 160 in my opinion.
It's a good diagnostic tool. If a person has a non-running saw, if they can test the compression it narrows down the range of problems.
If you can tell by running, why do you need a gauge to tell you? You're making my point for me.
160!!! Now that sounds crazy wild for a stock saw.
Well, if it is indeed 160lbs., it looks like I'll stick to the original plan my brain wrote down on the first post minus the compression and just widen the intake and take the exhaust to the max and keep the stock numbers.
