different strokes for different folk I guess. First thing I did when I got my 026 was ask if the fuel mixture and bar oil caps could be switched out. What do you guys find advantageous about having to use a scrench to loosen and tighten the caps?
here's my favorite cap design... wonder why they are no longer available. old style orange caps with a flange
my fav 50cc class saw is an 026
like it better than a MS 260 .... just sold a MS 260 and kept my 026.
much prefer the old style gas/oil caps vs new style
I like the old style caps better too..Get too much in a hurry and think you got the new style caps on good then end up with a lap full of oil or gas....
What does that orange ring do, and what's the pointer on it?
Is it like the cap on a childproof medicine bottle?
Flippy caps are a piece of brilliant industrial design, imo.
orange pointer gives extra leverage when untightening.
flippy caps are junk! but that's just personal opinion...
perfect example of a solution solving a problem that never existed.
they break all the time... if they are so brilliant, then why does it stump some people?
never heard of anyone ever getting stumped by a std screw cap vs times where the climber has to climb down, just to show groundies how flippy cap operates...
if they are so bad, why does new MS 660 still have std screw caps?

I don't see how ya'll are having trouble with the flippys, I love 'em.
