I've never seen one in the flesh. This thing is the same size as the 372 and they use a 394 crank. Go figure!
It actually is the 394 that use the 181 crank, if they are the same.
Btw, there is a substantial weight difference between the 372 and the 181
I just measured a new OEM case gasket and it's .011" thick.

There may be a substantial weight difference, but when you'r out in the bush with a 288, the amount of power for the weight is second to none IMO. .
Hopefully JJ will chime in here, but I think the 066 piston may require macheing to work in a 288? Popup maybe?
