I figured that would get someone's attention. I am looking to see if anyone has experience porting a 360 or 460? I need to tell my local machine shop what to do but I have never modified a chainsaw before. Please help. Is there a form that has some specs already or maybe a link?

So do you know how much to open up the port? What are the variables? Or just sell the saw for parts and pick up a good saw like a craftsman. Better yet any one point me in the direction of a good custom saw mechanic?

Simonizer in Canada is a name I've seen on arboristsite forums. I think its just cylinder porting. Your on your own for piston, muffler porting etc

Show off!;)

@OP Brad builds a strong saw as does Mastermind. They are both sponsors. As for porting it yourself, what do you want? Torque or rpms? Every saw is different, there is no copy these numbers solution to porting. Guys get paid for there work cause they have put in MANY hours figuring out what works and more often than not, what does not.
