i will be needing a stihl 041 farmboss carb this saturday. i talked to a guy today that has a stihl 041 farmboss and a homelite XL12 and some kind of concrete saw that needs work.so let me know if anyone finds a carb for the farmboss.i'm going to pick them up saturday and i'll get some pictures of each one and maybe we can figure out what kind of concrete saw it is. i got green slips and parts to trade.

In need of a coil for a 038.Anyone happen to have one laying around?I think several ones will fit? Don't have much in trading stuff.But there is always that nasty green stuff. TIA

since the hedge tree smeared my 028 Super on Saturday, I'm rebuilding. Might as well convert from points to electronic. I have the newer flywheel, so I'm needing either a trigger unit or an electronic coil. Oh, and a muffler. Have painted turtle shells (no one has taken me up on this one, and I think you're missing out on a cool piece of shop art. Would even paint a chainsaw on it!), smoked cheese, and greenbacks. Tom...Just so you know, KScycler needs the muffler for a Super....It is a two piece muffler....The old style "3 piece" muffler won't work.:msp_thumbup:

I have a couple 028 mufflers here as well, one early 028AV and one later 028 Super.

The coil is the universal coil, 0000 400 1300, same as 026/036/044, etc. If you end up needing to buy a tank I know of source with several 038 parts saws.

At the rate you keep sending me parts, I'm gonna need to send you this 154. Actually they're good saws, power-wise on par with a MS-260 as a stocker but modified they really come alive.

No luck on the cover, did find a NOS clutch/chainbrake cover if you need that.

BTW, will a top cover off of a 257 work? I know some of that stuff switches over.

I got reeeeal right purty one that says "365 Special" on it. But my Husqueenavrarna dealer tells me them thar stickers are only 4 bucks. Each that is. :biggrin:

Naah, I threw in a felling dog, two muffler bolts and some peanut shells when I sold it to him.
