this machine can save live ...... and give you new job contract... (hard to reach and dangerous) its not a remplacement
but a tool so when you reach 40 years old your dont have back problem etc......

:hmm3grin2orange:good comment are welcome this machine his made for your trade only ......

 Merry Christmas

Would "dreadful" be appreciated as a "good comment"?
The translation from French to English is too literal, but that is a moot detail, cause your invention appears glacially slow. Grass grows quicker. You need to ditch the turtle and get a rabbit operator, imo.
Also, a couple of us asked you how much this thing costs and never got a reply the last time you posted this thread.
How much does your machine cost? $$$? or $$$$$$$$?

It's really too clumsy and imprecise to do any kind of proper pruning. It's not big enough to do a takedown of anything of decent size. How much weight can that claw and boom handle? I could see it used for ROW but that boom needs to be insulated. For that it would probably be more useful mounted on a truck instead of self propelled. In the video where it's travelling, it looks like if it were to go over some uneven ground it would topple over because it's so narrow.

Needs more work.

I would have to see what kind of reach and capacities it has to know if its worth anything. It's a cool idea but like others said I'm not really sure what you could so with it other than right of way maintenance. The idea has been played with in different weighs before With machines that will lift a whole lot more.

Congratulations! Fine piece of engineering.:msp_thumbsup:
Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh.
Where and when will be able to see it in Ontario.
Cheers

Doesn't look like you could use it to prune anything other than perfect horizontal cantilevers, as the head would never let you get anywhere close enough to the branch collars on anything else. Somebody had a couple hundred K to blow, as they already make micro-compact lifts for arboriculture. http://www.hi-reach.co.uk/hire/tracked-access

the idea its not to replace truck ....i to do work behinde house (urbaine) where electrical... pool...expensive house no space to work etc....and yes it does a real good pruning cut with the camera it can cut a branch at 60 feet at .025 from the tree ....

info are on the video.
just pause it where you see technical info ....

Weell isolated machine will start at $ 135,000 :cool2:

and dont forget it 2 machine in one

How about a better video close up shot of the head in action so we can see what's happening, not just from the ground. Get up there with another bucket to shoot and get a better operator for your maching so we can be the judge.

yes we realise that a better video.... but when we did this one . the guy that did it only play with the machine for about 4 hours and we are not pro like you guys this machine his SOLD to a guy that's been in your trade for 25 years so after we deliver the machine and let him practice we will make a new video from a pro .

with this machine if you can do it with a chainsaw you can do the same ... it will not remove climbing in a tree but it will give new business ...... were hard to go and dangerous .... again in Ottawa a guy died because of électric lines behind a house .....
Too many have died already .....

this guy bought the machine because . he can't climb trees anymore he's only 45 years old .... but love the trade so much he doesn't what to quit .

so far the machine old branch with hydraulic press 18000 pounds ...
