Looks good Stumpy. Is the 026 going to be at any GTG's? I like the 350 in that video there, I dont think those saws were supposed to cut big wood that fast.

Like it enough to trade me the black wood boss?

I was referring to the 350 in strumpets vid... I ran that one, and it's nasty... I think it went to someone local...
As far as the black 039? Not mine to trade... I did it up for the brother in law...

I'm curious what the comp ends up being on the 260pro... Should be up there!!!

Ok my bad Haha. What's the 260's compression at right now ? I wouldn't mind snaggin up a 026 or 260.

lathe or mill

If you Gallatin Boys want to drive to St. Joseph you can use my lathe. I haven't cut a squish ban, but you can. Steve

I think he needs to take the breather cover off it, put an 044 carb on it, and punch a hole in the muffler....
Bam!!!
Race saw!!!

Looks nice Stump, runs like a scalded sheep!
Ive always liked the feel of the 260, if Stihl could make the 260 in strato form with 550 or 261 performance they couldnt keep them on the shelf.

I'll see if I can bring both of them to Hedgefest 2013.

So Stumpy what's the difference between the 026 and the 260?

the 0 is on opposite ends.:msp_scared:

Not 100% sure on that one. I don't thnk the 026 had a decomp, but I may be wrong on that. Not real savvy on the smaller stihls.

Little piece of humbled pie there. I've got a video of mine running a 20 but its holding 9,500ish in the cut. Looks like yours pulls around 11? I guess the squish is the next step to catching up Haha.

Don't remember what it was pullin, but it was nice. next step maybe, there may be a couple of other steps involved too.:msp_biggrin:

Oh I realize there's plenty more to be done. But I'll probably leave it where it is because its a saw I like to work with. Now my 028 could be fun to tinker with. Question is there a flat top piston that fits in it?
