Saw Shop Score

I stopped by a saw shop today that I visited a couple months ago. At the time they didn't have any saws they wanted to part with, but the owner said I could come by any time. I said I would check back, and bring something for the shop guys when I did. So today I went back looking for a used 24" DOO9 bar for my 272XP, and I brought a dozen "gourmet" donuts with me. Well, the owner found the bar I was looking for, then said, "hey I have some saws upstairs you might be interested in".


L-R: 266XP 150 lbs, starts, runs, idles, and piss rev's. 262XP 120 lbs, and bad plug wire. 266XP 142 lbs, and another runner.
* All compression numbers are cold, and at 4700 feet elevation. All saws came with 20" bars, and chains.

Im done Bro. Ive got my shelf queen and then have the one I bought from Roger Collins. After Randy got done with finger ports and a reworked carb..... Im pretty confident in it. I know it's stronger than either of my 359s were and they sent a ported 562xpw down the road so..... I believe I now possess the Ultimate 60cc saws.

Right you both are. 262s are special. When something is "special" than "need" need not apply.
Not going to add #3's until I have #2's for my favorite models. Anybody got a line on mint 288s? And still need to find a clean 242xp.
