Muffler Mods?

Bicycle handlebars are what I used. It's thin lightweight and easily TIG welded. The flare end was fabbed up with a ball pein hammer. My suggestion would be to angle the outlet to one side as these tend to set bark on fire when bucking up logs. fresh off the bench is this MS390. i mainly done this because the guy uses it only to cut stumps down b4 grinding them ad the original exhaust blows straight into the ground. i think it much better now.

was missing the front off my 084. so cut a bit of plate and mounted a 090 muffler outlet to it.. and opened up the stock outlet. she's loud!!!

You need to work with the engineering department and get those on saws

That 5105 took 2 hours labor and 37.00 in solder.....

Velocity stack on an old Clinton. Did it come new this way? Hell I don't know. Sounds good and very loud though. Btw does anybody know if a clutch cover was originally on this saw.

Yes I think they came that way, and no cover. Grandpappy had one and it had the same megaphone and no cover.

Thank you Homelite. I didn't see how any other type of muffler would fit.
