Oh you poor misguided soul. If Stihl ever had an Xtra Power designation to any of their equipment it would have been stolen/ copied technology. Just like the ideas they have taken from Husqvarna/ Jonsered/ and Dolmar. The only thing Stihl does better, to their credit, is marketing.

you mean like the extra ideas Husky "bought/took" from Redmax when they purchased them?
or were they from electrolux when the took their extra suckage...Husky definitely has extra suckage now.... :D

darn people from Utah !!!:nofunny:
(hey what do they call people from Utah anyway Utows ? Utoes-ans ? Uts " ?)

Your turn Jon...

Ooooh, carbon fiber - is it still 1990 in Germany then? Besides, it's just fluff, not production.

Remember that Stihl is all about marketing - this reminds me of the "Carbon fibre" bodied fishing reels of the 1980s - the only differense is that those actually were practical to a degree....

Stihl is "a bit" late as usual!

what they paying the el 44, 46, 48,................ of the flagship 562 ? now in wich number they are i thing they must be in about el 54 .

Well, Stihl owns the Zama factory, that makes those carb - but it was a mistake by Husky to have Zama make a new kind of carbs, where there was no Walbro design to copy. It only is the el 46 that is faulty though - and most of them are not.

I was crawling around carbon fiber aircraft 30 years ago, and it wasn't new then.

Many people who were born, and raised here, I refer to as Utards. Spend some time here, and you will understand why.
You call them Ute's

The trouble with Utah is of course the Mormons - but then all religions are bad to some degree....

I was raised Jewish, and married a Mormon woman. The religion here isn't the problem. It's the homogenous nature of the people here who are 7th or 8th generation ancestors of the early Pioneers, and continue to cling to the handcart. Many of them possess some huge sense of entitlement, and overlook the basic tenents of the gospel.

Is the version they didn't get that you are referring to the version on the 562xp with the lag?..

Yeah, +1 for Stihl

That's "EL" operator error not a lag. The sheer awesomeness of the saw overcomes normal operator senses and causes temporary nervous disorders short circuiting pathways to the finger and mimics an arthritic delay of the trigger finger muscles.
Clinically speaking, of course..
