My trusty home made 7x5 trailers been pinched. Single axle but was good for almost 2 ton. I had every part of it hot dipped....I'm spewing. Just fitted new tail lights too.

Not sure if I should go with a dual axle 8x5 or stick with the old setup.

sos bout that,,, thou um well i'm in the market to buy a nice solid 8x5 any idea where its been off loaded may be value oh n i'll spank em hard once deal done for you

speed read 2 - 3 pages sumthin about a trailer going away and weeds,,,,dear wifes 55 today shes getting high clicks may need to trade in. Has any one got new model reviews or should i just get her into the shop and worked on or just be happy with the loose suspension and aging body work
Trade ins are expensive.
Mine had ecu issues and I couldn't afford to keep it. I'd recommend sticking with what you've got, ageing body work and loose suspension is better than breaking in a new one.

wot about some test drives or weekend hire ,,, hmm might just get me over the urge :p

Yeah same here. We've had about 2 inches. Was gunna try get some wood tomorrow but if we get any more it'll be too wet. Not much fun when you spend more time digging the ute out than cutting wood.
Yeah is pissing down here... Firewood I did mine over summer, ran out of wood last winter bugger that to dark at knock off to scrounge up firewood am ready this year. Is a bit of everything I cheat and cut up a few bundles of off cuts as well I've only got a small wood heater and a old wood stove I light in winter the wood can't be very big....
Don't mind the bike only pic I have of me woodheap is double the wood there now, bike is a mates sons bike and an ex race bike lots of work was done to the engine and suspension... I rebuild it new bottom and top end for him I had to jet it down heaps as its now running a stock pipe still goes like a cut snake! yeah I take it for a spin couldn't stop smiling for an hr good times on the stopper flat gear changing in band! oh to be young again haha....1.JPG 2.JPG

Yeah i was just gunna help the old boy top his pile up but it can wait. Nice bike. Don't see many 2 strokes around anymore. I used to race an rm250. Had a port job, hi comp wiseco piston, boyesen reeds and a pro circuit pipe. Used to run it on 100 octane. Way more power than I could use but it was fun! The new 4 strokes are quick but not as exciting that's for sure. [emoji2]

I've seen that before in pinched bars where the chain gets stuck and the bar gets rolled to the side. I've seen a few saws bought in by farmers that look the same and all were from being pinched in Eucalypts. I have a twisted up 36" Power Match Plus in the shed with rails spread like that after my 3120 got squishied.

yeah its new to me as well only bout 5 month old i reckon they been just leaning on it hard while blunt and the rivets gave way

EDIT: Sorry mate. Just saw that you'd said the rivets have given way and it's a laminated bar. Stihl E? If so I've seen that too but only once. The guy wasn't sure what had happened but it looked like that had been pinched and twisted too.

Nice I like the old RMs yeah I grew up riding two strokes , the new 450 4 strokes my god are cranking out the hp! had a ride of a few mates 450s but I would crash and burn if I owned one haha...Will stick to the good old 2T myself and you don't have to sell a kidney to rebuild one unlike the 4Ts nowadays...

Yeah the 450s crack. Trouble is you don't realize how quick your going until you get on the brakes coming into a corner. Ah the good old days. I'll never forget them though. My knees remind me every time we get this wet weather. Ha ha.

I agree mate. As a kid/teenager I was used to gutless bikes and the biggest I had was an old twin shock YZ100. Then didn't ride bikes for years and my brother bought a YZF400 when they first came out. I'd kill myself in seconds on one of those things. Quickest thing I've been on was a ported and worked over KX500. Guy couldn't keep gearboxes together but that thing had spoon fed cripple written all over it. For a short while I considered a new CR500 but then common sense kicked in and I realised that I'm quite simply not that good :)

Ha ha. You can keep the 500s. Got on one once and never again! [emoji15] I had a crack on an R1 last year and they're no slouch either!

Mate it was farking frightening. All I did was just go up and down a straight track. Wasn't game to give it any throttle in turns. We destroyed a brand new rear tyre in two tanks of fuel on this hard track. The thing was still pulling a rooster tail at over 100kph and leaving a trench about a 1/2" deep. Guy was spewing when he realised his tyre was wrecked :)

Ha ha. You don't have to tell me. I've never ridden so slowly around a berm in my whole life! I was too scared to even roll the throttle.
