Are they any good for bar oil Vince, or do you just use them for fuel?

I still spill bar oil like a baby sometimes.

I had one of those green no spill spouts, but didn't read the instructions on the back of the pack, couldn't get it to work and broke it accidentally. ...the shop felt sorry for me and gave me another one.

Use a squeezy bottle of some sort.
Dishwashing liquid bottles can be ok, I used a 1l gulf western bar oil bottle for ages until the lid broke last week.
Doesn't stop you spilling bar oil when you fill the small bottle, and it's not much use on a big saw - 1l isn't going to get you far. Great for small saws though.

Naa fuel only.
It might work with the thin Stihl oil.
I like the 4l thin bar oil container the best so far for bar oil. Can get in there well and doesn't pour out fast like the old white containers.

Thinking out aloud here, but would the car transmission top up bottles with the pull out nozzle work? Dunno if the lid would screw on to bigger bottles?

Ok You Stihl Guys
ive got an old 031 , qs is, could I change it to a 034 or would I benefit from doing this
I may have to replace the p/c yet , but haven't pulled it apart, its down on comp
any thoughts on this

whats the Gulf Western bar oil like, is it ok to use
Honestly I've changed a few things trying to get better bar life and one of them was not using gulf western bar oil anymore.
I'm getting much better bar life using the stihl thin bar oil, so I'm not going to change. I just can't be sure that changing bar oil is what made the difference or not.
