Most problem folks have with the Stihl fasteners, usually stems from their using a T-25 wrench instead of a T-27.
I picked up MS660 with a few bolts missing. Mainly looking for the muffler bolts and a few for the recoil. Should I just order from the dealer or can I get a whole saw kit? Been looking around and not real promising. I did see a "kit" on the ebay, looks decent ....http://www.ebay.com/itm/360881816766
Even on some of the bolts I removed, the "grippers" ar pretty worn down. And as stated above, I hate working on something that has the wrong screws/bolts on.
I know, old thread.......will give some "rep" to the OP........not sure what that means, before my time, just read that a lot in old threads.....lol. Thanks for replies!!!!!!
my opinion those suck for chainsaws they do not have the knurling on the back of the head so you would need to use lock washers with themtorx head M6 machine screws
And you can get them from eBay:

This they are S.S. you never have to worry get rusted.
I have boxes of oem cheese heads for restorations but they won't see eBay
If you torque them right you don't need lock washermy opinion those suck for chainsaws they do not have the knurling on the back of the head so you would need to use lock washers with them
