Stihl Bolts

Most problem folks have with the Stihl fasteners, usually stems from their using a T-25 wrench instead of a T-27.

I picked up MS660 with a few bolts missing. Mainly looking for the muffler bolts and a few for the recoil. Should I just order from the dealer or can I get a whole saw kit? Been looking around and not real promising. I did see a "kit" on the ebay, looks decent ....http://www.ebay.com/itm/360881816766

Even on some of the bolts I removed, the "grippers" ar pretty worn down. And as stated above, I hate working on something that has the wrong screws/bolts on.

This they are S.S. you never have to worry get rusted.

my opinion those suck for chainsaws they do not have the knurling on the back of the head so you would need to use lock washers with them

DD is the best source I have found in a week of looking. I put a pan head m5 in a saw today as an expediency but I know it will not stay

Redoing a old 041 need some cheese heads and a poulan 4200 recoil spring

If you torque them right you don't need lock washer
Do you ever ask your self why you don't find any lock washers inside any engines?
