I use them both and love both of my saws. I also have a couple of Homelites and might purchase a Dolmar 7900 soon. If you purchase the right saw for your application there should be no 'real' difference. It is when you try to apply a saw not intended for your use that problems occur. On hte extreme side, I recently saw a Stihl 250 [45cc] saw with a 28 inch bar. The poor little saw was laboring with about 24 inches under cut. All I heard from the owner was how crappy Stihl saws were and how his big old Husky wouldn't have had a problem. His Husky was a 72cc saw. He informed me that he didnt want to pay that much for a new saw so he went with the Stihl 250 since he had a buddy who loved that saw. He also commented on the whimpy little 18 inch bar his buddy used!

You rang?

I can hear Joat's wheels turning now..."Plumber tried to rhyme, but it shoulda been a crime..."

:givebeer:

Now PA Plumber that was real lame,
‘Course you are new to this game,

But ole Woodie tried to rhyme before,
Still he needs to practice some more,

Now Ted Mack has an amateur show,
That’s where you rookies ought to go,

Now when there’s rhyming needing done,
Leave it to Joatmon, he’s the only one.

Huh...that boy couldn't lay a glove on me if he had a Stihl Glove-Laying machine! (Prolly couldn't even get it started...)

About gloves, at least here, the Stihl "Super-gloves" are POS - the white-leather Husky and Jred ones are good, and the best ones are the black-leather Jred ones........:yoyo: :yoyo:

Joat put Plumber in his place,
Cause his poem was a danm disgrace.

What'cha talkin 'bout,
Willis...

Joatmon's rhymes aren't bad, said Dan,
But Woodie is the rhyming MAN!!

Well ole ST,

Don't keep us in suspense. We want details, you know, manufacturer's posted weight, the German Glove Testing Facility (GGTF) weight. Do extra long fingers upset the balance? Come on, lay it on us.

I reckon I'll step up and take THE CHAMP mantel for awhile. After all, Tommie's at home lying on the sofa eating Cheetos watching Demi on that new fangled hi-def home theater system. Gettin' soft, ain't he? Yep, no place for a champ.

I tried to rhyme and make it fun,
I was told I wasn't the one.
Well I'll try again and see what goes,
Maybe another will step on my toes.
A plumber man is what I do,
This verse stuff is full of poo.
So I'll take my wrench and tools and glue,
And pipe these silly words to you.

Can I get an "Amen" here?

Plumber's head's taken lots of hits,
Plus I think he's full of Schlitz.

You show promise! But, get aggressive. Just a few changes and you have this:

I tried to rhyme but it's no fun,
When you're told you're not the one.

I am consoled because Woodie's worse,
When it comes to makin' a verse.

A plumber man is what I do,
Workin' all day with pee and poo.

Now that rhyme reminds of you,
Smack down time, whatcha gonna do?
