026 Bar and Chain suggestions

I run an 18" .325 pitch .063 gauge bar with a 26RS74 chain on my unmodded 026 and it pulls it with authority. When I bought the saw it had a 20" on it and pulled it just fine. But I like the balance of the 18 better. I would definitely stay with .325 chain though, and get an eight pin if you can find one.

Keeping in mind this is just a subjective opinion, I really don't see the advantage of an 8 pin in this particular application. 18 or 20 inches with a 7 pin puts this saw at the upper end of it's capabilities , I think with 8 pins it would be more likely to bog in a tough cut.
