I've got a new to me 026 had been setting a while I rinsed out stinky fuel and filter started good but will not rev past 8000 9000 rpm try all i can think of no luck what do you guys think?
026 runs poorly

pulled it apart diafram still good clean in side screen clean pulled it apart soaked it in carb kleener foor an hour put it back to gether same crapy non ajustable H carb

send it to snelling and put an 044 carb on it

Just trying to save you some trouble on that saw.
Why do you have to mess with a new guy anyway. He puts up a thread asking a question and waits for some good advice but instead gets you kicking hornet nests. Thats very inconsiderate of you.

alrite wood you guys think its a carb problem i already changed the impulse line checked muffler and screen fuel line and filter,rookie 1 thank you
If the fuel was varnished up, then some of the internal fuel circuits in that carb could be completely and permanently corroded shut. You may need another carb.

the fuel was stinky no soilds should i pull the L AND I srews out and reclean It
