041 no spark help

Where did you get that and how old is it. Fuel is not nice on the lines anymore. Trust me on the exhaust bolts. The 041s love to shake stuff loose. I just rebuilt mine I got from the old man.

The greek on the bay sells different colored fuel line for the different sizes advertised under chainsaws on. com

Ordered key. Took a week but only cost $0.96 . It would start but would not idle or rev, so I started looking for an air leak. Found one.

I'm going get and replace all intake gaskets.

Should I look anywhere else or just vacuum test after putting in gaskets?

Not being picky but that Module/ chip is not a Nova I think it is marketed by Stens or labled as a Fire something or other Ive have had 2 failures with that type; but Nova"s have all been good

Nice job. I have sheared the flywheel key in the exact same way lol. Love the sound of an 041, reminds me of when I was little watching my dad cut trees. I redid his old one for Christmas after it sat for 15 years after being crushed.
