Install your bar in the middle of it's adjustment range. Measure around the bar and drive sprocket.
Divide that measurement by 2x the chain's pitch to get the driver link count.
(divide the measurement by 1 for 1/2" pitch chain, .808 for .404 pitch, .75 for 3/8", .65 for .325, and .5 for 1/4").

Hal,

What brand of bar is it? As far as I know the larger bars Homelite made were 43". 50", and 60 ". A Homelite (43") GW43003 takes 100 links, (50") GW50003 takes 113 links, and (60") GW60003 takes 134 links. If you have a Oregon, Cannon, Windsor, or other brand then that will be a bit different.
