2101xp oiler

So I picked up a 2101xp for a toy. I got a carb kit coming for it. Now I'm trying to fix the thumb boiler. At some point it got bent. I got it straight and going up and down but is there a oring at the bottom of the cylinder? When I put it back in and press down gas comes out the fuel line.

The manual oiler passes straight through the gas tank compartment to get to the oil tank....There is an o-ring top and bottom that seal to keep the gas out of the oil tank.
