Hi I’m about to get a pretty clean good running 261 in the mail next week. Was thinking about putting a 262 piston in. Do you think the 261 carb will be adequate? If not , do you have a 262 carb to sell at a friendly price?

I see aftermarket clutches for those ( 3 shoe). I wonder if they are better than the original 2 shoe, seems like there's also a washer that has to go behind the clutch. Have you found the flat top piston to make a big difference? I think this is probably a good running 261 already. Has not arrived yet, so I don't know which carb it has

I think the 120 is the standard carburetor. The 87 was the hopped up one that came on the early saws and hard to find. I would think a meteor flat top 262 piston would be a nice upgrade. And I believe a 357 three shoe clutch also fits
