I have another used (but cracked) crankcase with the flywheel still attached. Let me know if you want it.

this thing has oil every where what should i check first?

Is the oil pump driven from the clutch drum or from a pressed on worm gear on the crankshaft? If it uses the pressed on gear, the oil pump runs all the time and will create quite a mess if left idling.

No, it looks like a casting seam - you do not see the paint cracked along the leading edge in the last picture.

It's just the casting. Oil pump is clutch drum driven
