The CS-3816 Earthquake arrived at my doorstep today, $35 shipped.
Passes the pullcord test, so looked it over and see that it's never seen wood, new bar and chain. Pop the oil cap, never been filled with oil. It had been ran, so popped the fuel cap and see some fuel residue in there and in the lines.
First thought was straight gassed, so pulled the plug, no scoring, looks new. Pulled muffler, same thing.
So put a little gas in it, and several pulls later, she fired up. Revs well, shut it off, fired right back up.
I've looked this thing over, and I can't find anything wrong with it. The bar and chain have never been put on as there are no marks on the sprocket. Haven't put the bar on it, but the adjuster and all is okay. The only thing is the starter seems kinda rough and jerky, will look at that before pulling on it too much more.
Shall see how she runs tomorrow, along with some pics.
