3/8 pitch or 3/8LP

can you run regular 3/8 pitch chain on a 3/8LP sprocket bar? whats the difference? thanks nfp

3/8 pitch is .375, lo-pro is .370.....not interchangable unless you like replacing chains, sprockets, bar tips, maybe the saw. Lo-pro is used on smaller saws that don't have the power to pull full sized chassis 3/8.
