I got a new 45cc 338XP California Edition from my boss, and considering it was free, I am trying to make it run to its potential. I took the baffle out and it ran a little better, but still doesn't seem like it runs to the 45cc potential it should. I took the muffler off and drilled out with a 1/2" bit after work and haven't cut with it yet, so not sure if it made the difference I was looking for. Anyone have any experience with these new 45cc'ers, or have any other ideas on what I can do to beef it up more. I was contemplating taking out the auto decompression valve. Also it uses the same carb as the 39cc model, is there bigger jets I can put in it or anything like a motorcycle carb? Just looking for some upgrades, and couldn't find much on the Cali editions. I would upgrade to a 200T, but empty pockets and a free saw at work leaves me in this current position.
