372xp quick question - chain brake

Does anyone know the correct orientation of this little spring, which is enclosed in the white plastic? I'm sure it was in correctly, before it flew across the room.

Excellent! That's perfect; I do have an IPL, but it was difficult to distinguish. I should've checked YouTube though.
