Looking for a good deal. Wondering if someone can point me in the right direction for a new in the box 372XPW or 372XP. Need to get the saw shipped up to Sumas, WA.
If you wanted to build one, get a used 372XP, put the big bore kit on it and a wrapper if it has a standard handle, you would be close to the factory "S" I would think.I know the 75cc version is NLA. There still is an xpw being made but it has the same engine as the regular xp.
I'm sure there are still some of the 75cc xpws out there somewhere, but they're getting harder to find. I used to have a good hookup on them but they are long gone now.
If you go on the .ca website, it still shows the xpw model. Have emailed all the local dealers to see if the xpw is the 75cc model, if they have any in stock. Wonder why the larger US market wouldn't still offer the xpw model ?
Don't sweat that 75cc model. I prefer the original 71cc myself.
Never talk to a buddy who is a faller, been doing it for 25 years lol. He suggested looking seriously at the 390xp /390xpw. Regardless of powerhead, would only be running 20" & 24" B/C. How much of a step up would the 390 be over the 372 ? 390 would Definitely be a good step above my 365 Will see how much of a price difference there is between the 372 an the 390 , on Monday when I talk to the local dealer.
I agree with the 71cc vs 75cc. I've run both and can't tell any difference. If porting I'd rather have the regular 372 71cc.
